By accessing and using FixMyDocs ("the Service"), users ("User" or "You") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your access to and use of the website fixmydocs.space. If you do not agree with any provision of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Service and must discontinue use immediately.

FixMyDocs is a Document Intelligence Engine providing AI-powered document processing across multiple specialized workspaces: Doc Refine (formatting and structure), Resume Intelligence (ATS optimization and recruiter formatting), Academic Mode (citation formatting and academic tone), Legal Mode (contract restructuring and clause normalization), Business Reports (executive summaries and KPI extraction), Doc Scoring (readability, ATS, consistency, and compliance analysis), Doc Compare (version comparison and AI change analysis), and File Converter (format conversion between PDF, DOCX, and TXT). The Service utilizes Large Language Models (LLMs) to perform semantic analysis and domain-specific document intelligence. The Service is provided on an "as-available" basis.

• Legal Right: You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary legal rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and process the documents submitted to the Service.
• Prohibited Content: You agree NOT to upload documents containing malware, illegal material, highly sensitive PII (unless redacted), or any content that infringes upon third-party intellectual property rights.
• Usage Limits: You agree not to bypass any rate-limiting mechanisms or use automated scripts (bots) to scrape or exploit the Service.
• Verification of Output: You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs, including refined documents, resume optimizations, citation corrections, legal analysis, business summaries, and document scores, are provided as assistance and must be reviewed by a human for accuracy, professional suitability, and legal compliance before being used in a formal capacity. Legal workspace outputs are not legal advice.

Users maintain full ownership and copyright of their original documents and the resulting refined output. FixMyDocs claims no ownership over your data. However, the software code, design elements, and brand assets of FixMyDocs are the exclusive property of the Service and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIXMYDOCS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING REMEDIES FOR INACCURACY, DATA LOSS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE AI OUTPUT WILL MEET SPECIFIC PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS OR BE FREE FROM SEMANTIC ERRORS.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL FIXMYDOCS, ITS OPERATORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OR REPUTATIONAL HARM RESULTING FROM INCORRECTLY FORMATTED DOCUMENTS.

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each workspace tool consumes credits based on document size. Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Credits do not expire. Free tier users receive 1 free document processing per day. Payment processing is handled securely through Razorpay.

The Service utilizes third-party APIs (such as Google Gemini for AI processing, Razorpay for payments, and Supabase for authentication) and displays advertisements via Google AdSense. File conversions in the Converter workspace are processed entirely client-side and do not involve any third-party services. By using FixMyDocs, you also agree to be bound by the respective terms of service of these third-party providers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these terms or engages in behavior that threatens the stability or security of our infrastructure.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in India.
